Hi I have tried to go to the page for a secret key,
https://api.wordpress.org/secret-key/1.1/ WordPress.org
I comes up with an error. is there any way to generate this as i have install WP manually

I now have that working, and now deleted my index page.
Now when i enter address http://www.1300phonenumbers.net.au
it comes up with the blog name and email address, when i enter these it comes back with a 404 error
please help

Installation URL should be your domain + "/wp-admin/install.php", so http://www.1300phonenumbers.ne…..nstall.php in this case.
That aside, you mention deleting your index page. Deleting the index.php file in your main directory or in wp-admin will cause big problems. Where did you read that you should delete those? The only thing I can think is that you might of had a index.html file (which would likely override the index.php file) to have a 'under construction' page while you were moving into WordPress?
